How do I sign in? Do I need a password?
No password. Enter your email address and we send you a one-time 6-digit code — type it in and you're signed in. You can also use Sign in with Google where it's offered on the sign-in page. Because sign-in uses a code sent to your email, anyone with access to your email inbox could access your PostalGenie account. Keep your email secure, and if you ever suspect someone else has used your account, email support@postalgenie.app right away.
How do I change my email or my return address?
Both live on your account page (My Account in the header). - Sign-in email: choose Change email, enter the new address, and confirm it with the one-time code we send there. Your account switches over once the new address is verified. - Return address: update it under My Return Address — name, street, city, state, and ZIP (US only). We verify it can receive mail when you save it. It's saved to your account, so future letters use it automatically. Remember it must be your own genuine, current address. Your account page is also where you can change your newsletter preference at any time.
Is there a limit on how many letters I can send in a day?
Yes. To prevent abuse, there's a cap on how many letters each account can send per day (and a short-term hourly throttle). Most people never notice it — it's set well above normal use. If you hit it, you'll see: "You've reached the maximum number of letters you can send per day." The limit resets daily, so you can send more letters tomorrow. Your unpaid drafts are safe in the meantime — they stay in your account until you send or delete them. If a daily limit is genuinely in your way for a legitimate reason, email support@postalgenie.app and tell us about your use case.
